The presentation below shares details of a study on how Global Fortune 100 are using popular social media platforms to communicate with their stakeholders. Some interesting info in the study presented were:
- Twitter with 65% of Fortunate 100 companies using it is the top Social Media platform being used followed by FaceBook Fanpages (54%).
- US and European Companies have the highest level of Twitter activity with 72% and 71% respectively.
- US Companies have the most Youtube accounts (59%) and FaceBook fanpages (69%).
- Asian Companies have the most corporate Blogs (50%)
- Number of Corporate Blogs per company is also high with multiple blogs being published.
